Could this be a broken spindle whorl?

Hi, I found this earlier this week. It rang in at a cracking 85 on the Deus tid, so about the same as nice big bronze coins. It is obviously manufactured as the hole has a sort of chamfer and there's file marks. I'd have said it was bronze, but it looks and feels more like a stone - it's hard to describe. It's non-magnetic and heavy.
I'm thinking a broken spindle whorl? Any ideas to what it is and what it could be made of?

Spindle whorles are made of lead or stone, not sure what your item is .

Hard to say what it is made of from the pics, but it's either lead/alloy or copper/alloy though it does have file marks so a bit of a strange one?

It's one I'll show to the Flo as it's 'different'. I've seen most metals, new and old, but this isn't like any I've seen. It did come through on the Tid as bronze, so I'm going to say it has copper in this mix.
