Evening all,
Just a couple of bits and pieces from the last couple of days; certainly one of the best Nurenberg Jettons I've ever found and it's very thin. and it's my first Edward groat as well though I'm not sure which one so any help with that would be much appreciated - and very little idea of the small hammered either though I'm guessing Henry V, Henry VI?… and a couple of really nice livery buttons - again not sure who they belong to - is the more gilded one a bear?

Anyway any help with any of these things will be much appreciated!
Hope all well
Alexander

Very nice coins! Too lazy to go look in Spinks so can’t help you with them - sorry

On the livery buttons, firstly can I just say they are in superb condition ! Looking at that top one, it can’t be a bear - it looks like a camel or an alpacca type animal with it’s pointy nose and harness  where was the nearest big town? Might help narrow them down.
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Maybe Alpacas weren’t the flavour of the day back then,to me it looks more like a muzzled hound.

The boar's head on tother one seems to be for the Purcell family, Shropshire.

It’s pretty obvious that’s it’s a llama wearing a baseball cap!

I’d say it’s a camel, Berkley family
