Blooming fields still mainly in crop  Only field I have right now and it’s hard work - lots of lead, lots of small iron and in stubble. Back breaking detecting. At least I found a few things which is unusual for this field

Found a broken Lizzie sixpence on the first 2 hour trip which was a nice surprise. Second trip started with a nice condition Charles rose farthing and ended with a round hammie. Think it’s a clipped halfpenny? Maybe a Henry III? Confirmation would be very welcome.

Later than Henry III for the penny. Probably a later Henry or Edward, Henry VI?

Very nice rose farthing.

Some nice finds, Cath.
Shame about the 1571 being only half but at least the date is there for that specific year in time.
Cheers,
Dave.

You can’t complain about that return from a session.
