Found inside a Medieval House.

I found this upper Cretaceous fossil sponge inside the walls of a medieval house on our archaeological dig recently. It's so tactile that I can imagine a medieval person finding it and keeping it. Though it's probably just been dumped there.

My place is stuffed full of echinoids and other interesting fossils and stones.
