Well done, Becky - always good to find these and no doubt you'll soon find one with enough detail to clean a bit of mud off and say with total confidence that it's a sestertius :thumbsup:

Thanks Figgis. It’s the second Roman coin I’ve found (you kind lot identified the first one I found for me) so they are still very unfamiliar to me. I’m on a steep learning curve with this new hobby!

Congratulations :D I know what you mean about most being squarish or less than perfectly round - the ones I’ve found have been too.
