To all Katherines, Catherines and Kathryns (do we know any   ) would you like a nice FREE day out?

Sudeley Castle where Katherine Parr is buried has been on TV many times, including Digging For Britain and the short lived metal detecting series where couples tried to make the best finds (which was so good I can not remember its name :pulling hair out: ). Very interesting Evan...She has a fascinating story. The period seemed littered with Catherines and Katherines etc That and Annes, Marys and Janes. We have the 'top ten names' charts in terms of popularity. I wonder what it looked like back then and how it changed throughout the ages.
Unfortunately, I know only one Kathryn. Or perhaps I should say fortunately. She is our son's partner and is an absolute See You next Tuesday. So the title of your thread gave me a bit of a spasm...
