Possible brooch for ID

Hello all
Had this what I assume is a brooch up from a spot that's done quite a few Roman items on my local beach.
Struggling with a proper id on this one its clearly been worn from sand action and potentially bent but the start of the mount for the pin is present and the ring and dot is making me think old.
Any help on this would be amazing

Looks like modern zinc/spelter? :problem:

It's copper but the staining is a bit bad

Interesting as we have had leten brooches from the bay I shall go back to google
