Found today. It's heavy and by the patina, I'm thinking bronze. Is this a knife or dagger pommel and if so, what sort of age would it be?
Many thanks
Is this a knife pommel?

Doesn’t look right for a pommel and possibly modern too. See what others think though

Can’t see anything similar on PAS and just over 1cm seems small but I probably haven’t been on this forum long enough to be correct.
Anyone got any similar examples?

Appreciate you looking. The only thing I found similar was a roman trade weight, but not in this elongated hexagon shape? I agree it does seem very small to be a pommel. Would love to get it ID'dJulius Squeezer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2026 9:19 pm Can’t see anything similar on PAS and just over 1cm seems small but I probably haven’t been on this forum long enough to be correct.
