ID required please

Two items for ID please .
The decorative buckle type object looks to have some age to it . My first thoughts were maybe some sort of buckle with an iron pin or possibly the end of a key ? Just guesswork .
30 mm diameter .

Second item looks to be chisel like in appearance as far as the business end goes . Reminds me of a "tooth" from a digger machine or maybe from a plough ?

Only because i was looking up pot legs, Cauldron or Ewer leg ?

My thinking is an annular buckle or brooch and a pot/trivet leg. Both with decent age :thumbsup:

Any tips on cleaning the rust away from the swivel / brooch item or best left as it is :thumbsup:

I'd just leave it as is. You could remove the excess crumbly rust with some pointy nosed pliers if you really wanted to though may regret doing so? Can we have some more pics of it, ta. :thumbsup:

here you go easylife . I managed to clear some of the rust deposit which was surprisingly quite soft and powdery .

Could be a swivel. The iron part probably went all the way through leaving a loop?
