Nice coin weight

I was shown this nice little coin weight at the LP charity dig in Lambourn last Sunday guess it is for a Groat 4D?

It was also nice to meet up with Bob, Bob the log, and Phil too :thumbsup:

Sorry I don't know that, I only saw it in the field, it was smaller than a scrabble square!

I'm sure you will know, don't clean that soil out, that is what's giving it its bright clear look.

According to the Withers book, 15th - 16th century. The angel was first issued in 1464. There are brass ones from the 16th-17th but they look to be more detailed.
