Met up with my good friend again today for a little hunt :thumbsup: not a sniff of a hammy for me but he did manage one ( Jammy twat ) :lol: I did get what i think is a sword hangar and a few Grots also something that looks to me like some kind of sword pommel ? His Hammy i think is Irish and i thought i could see waterford on it ?

Thanks Oxgirl i was thinking sword or dagger pommel it was a couple of feet away from the hangar thingy

The pommel looks like it is made of lead/alloy and had timber either side of the blade so maybe from a knife, dagger or clever? :thumbsup:

The Roman has a 4thC look about it, possibly house of Constantine with Victoria reverse?
