This is 6pm in Turkey, where Nokta are based.

The big live unveil is at 3pm UK time.

I suspect there will be great offers in the next couple of weeks from a few manufacturers. Particularly Minelab who have kept an illegal ooops sorry I mean iron grip on the pricing policy of their retailers. They will be feeling the threat from both sides - on a similar offering at a lower price by Nokta and a supposedly faster machine with other benefits at a higher price point. You’d expect the price to drop over time but it hasn’t yet.

Obviously the original Deus has had big price drops already - I expect there’ll be more big deals to addon for Black Friday.

Garrett really haven’t been much of a threat with their big fanfare Apex offering. They are going to have to really sort out their R&D activity because they are not offering anything ahead of their competition. Capable they may be but they aren’t offering any innovative features or a machine that is easier, lighter or cheaper than others.

It is hard for the others competing with the excitement of the new offerings versus a machine which is now a few years old. There again both the new MF Nokta and the Deus II might be awful/ have poor build quality/ be unreliable or have manufacturing delays
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Won't be surprised we see an AT-Pro replacement, multi frequency, waterproof and lighter.

Not as much as Deus who has brought out a New updated model with fantastic improvements for £4 extra on the original price of the first Deus which i think it was bob 79 who worked out allowing for inflation equals to about £1800 at todays prices and it had it faults with wiring inside the head phones Why £1,399 for the new machine because they think thats the most they can charge and still get away with it because of the price Makro and Minlab have set
They are my thoughts
20 metres deep thats deeper than French subs go in Aussie waters
p.s i use a Deus

They did, they actually run it quite often, when I won my nox 600 in a raffle that was during the same offer so I got the headphones too. With the 800 they often run an offer with a free extra coil at the same time as they do the headphones offer with the 600.

Actually worth bearing in mind if you're in the market for a nox, if you wait a few months you can usually get a freebie.
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

Never reduce the price or let retailers discount them, chuck in a free pair of £20 headphones which cost £116 because they have got a Minelab sticker on them.
