I was wondering what Recovery speed other Nox 800 users are using? I find that 4 or 5 is optimal on my pasture. If I get a quite iffy deep non-ferrous target I sometimes drop the Recovery speed to 3 or even 1 to see if it will give a better response or more target info but it never seems to. The factory preset is 6 and that is good but for me and my ground 5 is favourite as it is good for both deep targets and target separation.
What Recovery speed do you find best and on what type of ground?
D2 - 13"x11" coil - audio only.

There's virtually always some iron about on my ground so 5 seems to suit best, but 3 should punch a bit deeper on clean ground.

Just curious but what are your accept/reject settings?

In F1 I set 1 and 2 to reject, does that seem reasonable?

I only ever use Recovery on 4 and Iron Bias on 0 or 1.

When I had my Nox, my starting point was always the same as yours, 5.

That pretty quick recovery, but I had a couple of very deep crotal bells on pasture using 5.
