I did notice he also put his Job application form in at the same time
Appointment of CEO
6.7.7 A CEO should be appointed relatively early in year one by the Interim Group. The CEO could perhaps
even be appointed from within the Interim Group if desired
. The CEO will begin the process of the
day to day running of the professional body and hopefully, within the first three years, will be supported
by small administrative staff.

So this is the report he was paid to write. Of course the result will be positive for him.
The principal aims of the project were to; establish
what an Institute of Detectorists might offer potential members and other stakeholders, including the wider
public; the market and need for such an Institute to be established; and the opportunities which might
associated with setting up the Institute.
How to market and find opportunities {to make money}....

It's odd how people who run charities and non-profit organisations always seem to give themselves a big fat pay cheque with vast amounts of alleged admin costs.

I wonder how much of the £50k he has claimed out of the funding for a bit of research and writing a report?

I once worked for an automotive component manufacturing company, that had a division that was set up as a charitable trust. It's funny how 90% of the profit made was taken up by a management cost whether it was £50 or £5mil. That was back in the late 80s/ early 90s.
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

My opinion below is under the freedom of speech and expression, it is mine and mine alone.

I wondered when Mr Ponzi.........sorry Westcott would raise his head, the PARN cupped hands model made me chuckle, open hands to hold all the money perhaps........I have a model here its called FO and comprises of two fingers erect

Problem, Reaction, Solution in play here, they create the problem, big reaction and low and behold they have a solution and it only requires putting your hand in your pocket and paying something to profit, yes you guessed, the person that thought the scheme up

This came out today too :(

Shame as it’s well produced and a nice clear video but I don’t think the AofD involvement was a good idea.

Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

An excellent well produced video, with a lot of well known "big guns" involved.

Agree with Oxgirls comment about the AoD involvement.

I simply cannot be bothered to read through whatever manipulative drivel is contained in the "report".
