Yes it is an old wax seal.

I cannot find anything to make a stamp with and the stupid pic hosting site will not allow me to flip it around. But here it is.

You’re going to have to zoom out like the used to do on Ask the Family

The small hole looks functional so it may have hung from something. The other holes look decorative.

Ampulla? Tiny powder flask?

Looks like the design is symmetrical, may come to a point lower left.

It’s not a bit off a spud gun is it? King Edwards? (Crow bar that one in again)
