Better picture of the Norman willy :lol: i think the other hammered is an Edward IV but i will wait for Allectus to do a real job on the ID :thumbsup:

I have just had a reply from Martin Allen at the EMC this is his verdict looks like a rare one ? :thumbsup:
Thanks for these images of your interesting find, which are fine.

The reverse inscription is difficult to read, probably at least partly due to weak striking. It might be tentatively read as +G[RIMMO?]N[ ][E?]NI: which does not match any of the known moneyers of William II type 5.

I have recorded your find as EMC 2021.0378.

I thought that was a G initially too. Doesn't tie in with the E though & what favours a P rendered I), I & II(N) The 6th letter favours an E with the centre bar visible. ;)
