Last gasp brooch

Things were not looking good as I detected my way back to the car this afternoon. With just a couple of musket balls, a 1940 sixpence and a trio of really grotty grots to show for my efforts it was looking like a session to forget. Then, 50yds from the car up popped this umbonate brooch to save the day :D

Great find to end the session on and inkeeping with the great finds our members have had this week
Wasn't it a full moon last week? magnetic pull was strong i feel :ugeek:

I saw one of these a couple of months ago and before then had never seen one before. I think they are a lovely brooch design and yours is in great condition. Well found :thumbsup:

Thanks. These are mainly 2nd Century I think, although I'm happy to be corrected on that :thumbsup:
