George V & Mary medal

I know this is a George V & Mary medal but does anybody have any more info on it? Thanks.

What is the date at the top right of the first photo?
Is it 1893?
If so thats when George married his cousin Mary
So could be a commemorative medal of that event?

I'm gonna hazard a guess at 1911 coronation medal/coin as i see "22nd" on the first photo and thats the only 22nd listed for their events

Commemorative medals were mass produced and come in many designs and metals.

As others have said its to mark the Coronation of George V on 22 June 1911

As shown on the site that BA linked to the were very keen on medals to mark their events.
