My dad has recently passed away and I'm going out with his machine I no it's old but he found hammereds, roman ,saxon so I'm leaving the nox at home . Probably long shot dose anyone no best settings to use please

I had one of them in the early nineties,
Sensitivity as high as can without it chirping all the time all though the preset or lower will still get the good signals,
disc iron only although it will still get the large lumps like horseshoes & plough tips,
don’t take to much notice of the needle, just dig all 4 way signals, because gold rings show as can ring pulls & some small hammereds as foil,
Enjoy that lovely classic.

I never owned one of those but i did have the CZ-3D
Cant fault Stanslads set up tips, go for it :thumbsup:

Your Dad will be guiding you on this trip with his machine
