Morning All,
Frantically editing a video and need one more confirmation ID please! The Hub gets a lot of mentions in this one!
I think its a Roman nail cleaner ( I really like the ribbing on the middle section) but unsure of the age of the button if anyone can help...
Many thanks in advance!
all the Best
Alexander

I had a look on the PAS site for your button, too many to look through, but ones of similar shape and construction seem to be mostly Tudor.
Definitely better than the usual buttons I find, especially the little silvery ones that are the same size and colour as a hammered penny and make me swear a lot!

Your support for The Hub this year and beyond has been fantastic and very much appreciated :clapping:

So as a personal thanks i am going to give £1 for everytime The Hub is mentioned in your new video, and donate that to a charity of your choosing
But, i dont think you can manage too many mentions in 1 video without folk falling to sleep  , so i am going to count the ones in your previous video too and combine them both

Looking forward to the premier now

Merry Christmas fella

Thank You Bruce..... Rats, I have just uploaded before reading this so can't add more mentions but think its about £3 for this one plus the any from the one before - which I will match to nominated charity. Its out at 6pm and thanks to the Triumvirate of yourself, John and Cath for your support esp for letting me mention the channel and put up the odd link without getting stroppy!!! Happy Christmas everyone!

Looking forward to the next video, although I’ve not got desperate enough to watch West Country Clegg yet, thankfully

Your button is late 15th to 16th century according to Gordon Bailey’s book. It’s one worth buying when Greenlight Publishing have a sale - it’s about £17.50 full price.
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

You may be disappointed ... but all will be explained in the video... it was pretty gloomy for me too... I hope its not too gloomy to put people off watching or sticking with it til the grand finale!!! Hope all well!
