Big Bronze Pot Leg

This large Bronze pot leg found by my friend on Monday, dwarfs the one i found not that far away, a couple of months back.
Weighs 240g !!! 30mm at the top widening to 50mm near the bottom, thickness 20mm at top to 30mm at bottom
Solid piece of Bronze.

Some of those pot legs are whoppers. I hope they used a good pulley or swing arm system over the fire or it’d have been a nightmare to shift!

Great find, as it’s unlikely to have moved far from where it was used, so assuming there was a dwelling nearby?
