If I have a phone on me I switch it off. It interferes sometimes finding it's signals etc.![]()
I think the point of the OP is that W3W can pinpoint you to any location on the planet within a 3-metre square.
We find that smartphones are quite good and adequate for PAS recording. We also have hand-held GPS as a back-up too.
All the equipment we use is accurate to ten-figures.
We've pondered on the "should you have the 'phone on or off" predicadament but our past results show that this is immaterial.
