There ya go ! Told you there was more to come.

Nice to see and well done on the half Sovereign. The ‘‘thing ‘ your holding in the pics (in case you’re wondering) is part of a window catch, 1800’s.
I’ve had a few like that and only one of the bit that slides into it. Kept me wondering for ages.

I didn’t check this thread last night  You had gold and didn’t scream it from the title. Are you mad?

Oh wowzers, that is a nice field. No wonderPete wants to return, I wouldn’t want to leave! Take your time on this field though Andy. They only last so long and then you fall back down to earth, bringing a bag of rubbish with you each time. In the meantime savour this field, you are going to find some epic stuff on it by the look of things.

Congratulations

P.S. I’m updating your topic title!
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Thanks OG, I only have these fields for about another 4 weeks’ish so I’ve been hammering them (much to Mrs Shaggys disgust). I even took a week off work to get a few extra hours searching in - I’ve probably put in about 100 hours for this :D
What I haven’t shown you yet is the amount of rubbish I’ve pulled off the fields, and as for buttons, I could open my own haberdashery shop. I still don’t consider that I’ve found the fields hot spot yet... everything seems to be random losses (if you know what I mean)

Thanks for updating the title, didn’t event cross my mind to do it

The more time spent detecting the greater the chance of finding some good stuff. I wonder what you will be showing us next? Well done.
Good things come to those who wait.
