Out for four hours today and managed another 3 silver one the same as yesterday’s 1930 sixpence but 1929 today, William 3rd half crown, Elizabeth 1st 3pence, a few nice buttons, a pretty mount with harts on, cartwheel penny, and a couple of coins. The field has just been cut so managed to keep the coil close to the ground but it’s still very dry and hard digging looking forward to trying this field again when we have had some serious rain

Yeah, I noticed. Tell me, are you aware of forum rule 4.2.(c) that states should a member repeatedly cause other members stress by finding loads of really good finds when they're not, a lengthy ban will be imposed ?

Yes, Ian - you certainly are on a roll, chap, and hope it continues for you

Detecting is like being a piece of chewing gum stuck to the big wheel of life. Some times you’re riding high and others you’re firm on the floor with the weight of the wheel on you...... you’re certainly on top of the wheel right now..... fantastic result
