Evening All,
I found this yesterday on barley stubble, Hants.... nothing in 2 hours but no surprises there as the field has been done to death and although I feel its pretty impractical detecting over fresh stubble I had to get out !!! And it was a beautiful afternoon.
Anyway just as i was packing it in I found a William III farthing in ok nick and this ring bang next to it so not a complete waste of time...
In very faded capital letters I think I can make out EROTA or BROTA on the outside and there are various markings/hallmarks on the inside.
Any knowledge would be much appreciated!
All the B
Alexander
