hi been detecting on and off since 1990, bit old school not into the bells and whistles detectors I am a Tesoro man, have a vaquero and a silver sabre 2 had that over 25 years, don't get out much but enjoy seeing whot others find, I like doing bits of trenchart with coins, have a coin collection, collect and restore old dinky corgi toys but not done that for a bit now , so thanks for having me after a heads up on this site from a member on another forum I am on , ps I like banter and have a wicked sence of humour im on the Yorkshire coast " scarbados" im over 60 as well :o cheers bri

Hello Bri. I have great affection for tesoros. Had three in total......Sidewinder, Tejon and Invincible. (a souped up Euro-sabre for the French market with three tones.)Until very recently the Invincible was the machine that found me most in terms of value of finds. Great fun to use.

simple no frills I had a laser scout also but bought the vaquero last year in part ex

I've always heard good things about the Tesoro range, i think a few use them on the Thames foreshore?
That alone gives them credence as that place is just an iron fest
