It`s too Hot for me. I`ve had the Windows open and the Fan on all night. So God help in the daytime. The Sun was shinning brightly at 6 am this morning up here .Now thats a bad sign for a hot day to come. So today It`ll be feet up ,glass of Cold Fruit juice with Ice , salad sandwiches ,and watching Snooker on TV . Thats about as energetic as its going to get.

It's not looking too bad here today Pete, 19c and cloudy. There's light rain forecast for tomorrow, but I've got my ironing to sort out.

I'll be in the fields today for a few hours, but not tomorrow. I'll be in Slimbridge with grandkids, in the rain......

Myself, and Bob79 are heading deep into Wiltshire and the cradle of Saxon religious eminence, and under the shadow of Alfred, too a village that was once of huge importance, but time and modernisation, moved the boundaries, and it is now a sleepy little backwater, surrounded by rolling hills, and two deserted medieval villages.

20 odd acres of horse pasture, that has been rained on for the past four days, and just a short frisbee throw from the village church.

The US 101st airborne hid there in WW2, and the british army did the same in WW1, the Roman's walked next door, and before them it was known to the bronze age tribes.

So as you can see we have every chance of finding nothing😳

That sounds like an excellent area gentlemen. Just don’t gossip too much and you'll both find loads ;)

P.S. If you see a lonely short tree/ bush on a rise in the ground (think small hillock) that’s where the pot of gold is. Go find it

Well that never worked as planned, from the moment I stepped upon the field I felt severe dizziness and 2 hours in it is still the same, so heading home defeated😳
