Got out this morning, 06.30 , heavy rain, mud, heartache.

Out for 2 hours and soaking, this was the first find, I should of taken it as an omen and gone home right then.

Not a lot found, certainly not what I was looking for :| :|

They have just spread a load of human waste on the field as they do every year,so its come from there, far better than 'green' waste, you get the odd plumbing fitting and stuff thats gone down the bog but I welcome the sight of a pile of crap at the side of the field as opposed to a pile of the other crap :blow kiss:

What an unusual find.
We probably know what it is from.
Now having a flashback to the Hardware shop in the Two Ronnies, Four candles ( Fork `andles ), sketch.
Your sign may have been off one of those drawers.
With all the other connotations, gave me a laugh,
Dave.

 We've all had days like that Phil..... and even though the 'sign' is rarely as comprehensive as yours proved to be, there is usually a time early on when you just know its going to be a bummer of a dig.

I immediately thought the sign was a military one....from stores probably....and referred to No 2 uniform items. Service wife, used to knowing what was No 2 and No 1 uniform etc.

I think I may even still have my No2s in the loft somewhere Jan, I was never important enough to be issued No1s though

I do actually think the sign is toilet related though as the field has just been spread with sewage farm waste, dont really know who has a seperate toilet for No1s and No2s though, or why they had to label it ????
