Hello and a very warm welcome into The Detecting Hub.
From beginner to seasoned veteran in the hobby, and everyone inbetween, we intend to have something here for you all.

So, pull up a sandbag and come take a look around.
We would love to see your finds, hear your stories, help with an ID on the items you find, or sit with you in our virtual room here and help you decide which machine, or piece of detecting equipment would suit your needs the best and within your budget.

We have many guides, which we are adding to on a regular basis, choosing a machine, pinpointers, gaining permissions, codes of conduct for our hobby, and a lot more as we go forward.

Please feel free to contact one of us if you need any help, advice, or have a request for a guide

Making an introduction post is not compulsory, but it might help with getting you the correct advice, or even better someone from your area may spot you and offer specific help, days out, or help with your detector settings.

We hope you enjoy your stay with us, and hopefully you can take something from our forum that is helpful to you.

May I wish all concerned with this venture good luck, and thank you for the invite to join.

There is a bit of a delay between registration and being allowed to log in, but I am a little impatient.

Kevin.

Hello and welcome Kevin
The delay is because we have to approve new registrations, this is because we can then weed out any spam accounts or bots from just registering and then instantly being able to spam our forums
Glad to have you here and hope you enjoy your stay with us
You still have to have your first 5 posts approved which also helps us keep the spammers away

Thanks, Paul, and good to see you. I've dropped the "The" from my name as I thought it perhaps a trifle pretentious
