Isn't it quite strange how you can just find one part of something but not the rest of it? So why is that?

I think a lot of it is because the item was broken and thrown out in multiple parts.

Even though they are called Tractors, never seen a tractor with tracks on it, apart from on frozen sea.
No doubt these Big Berthas have snarled and broken many artifacts.
Earlier in the season found a Mecanno Jeep in 2 pieces, around 5 feet apart. Kids had been playing around old building before demolishment during the 50`s and in the 60 years since, the jeep has been chopped and moved apart.
Very rarely have found 2 or more parts of the same item.
