If you do go looking for a splitter, I would suggest getting one that is a y shaped wire rather than one which is a solid thing with a jack and two sockets. I have the ws4 adaptor plate and the socket doesn't look very strong, so plugging in something with a bit of flex will put less stress on the little solder joints, the adaptor is cheapish but not all that cheap for what it is.

Personally, the only cleaning I do on hammered silver is a gentle wash with water and that's it. each to their won as some people like to have them shiny, just not me. Unfortunately I do not watch you tube videos :thumbsup:

Thanks the roman, I've given it a very gentle "foiling" and its come up ok!
