Got myself motivated for a bit of stubble bashing on Monday. New batteries in the T², and off we go
Massive field that's not yet been baled, so I'd parked halfway up it. Worked my way to the far side with very few signals. A couple of buttons came up, & could hear the patches of Iron.
Having the Cors Scout on was not really ideal, given the length of the stubble, but didn't fancy using my 5 inch on such a large field, not having any hot spots noted. Headed uphill where the views are fantastic, from the White Horse at Kilburn, right round to The Wolds 8-) .
A couple of hundred yards up, & out came this lil fella :o I think It's Henry ii, Winchester mint, Gocelm moneyer, type 1ac, but I'm no doubt wrong & happy to be corrected .
Second cut half in three outings. Things are looking up
