I wondered if anyone can help with an I.D. on these couple of hammered coins I found in early August, along with a Charles 1st sixpence. Three hammered in one day is a personal best for me probably never to be repeated. Neither of the coins have been cleaned, other than tap water, the cut half is quite crisp, the other not so although surprisingly shiny.
The cut half I think could be Henry 11 penny and the other an Edward penny which one I can never get right. You guys and gals did such a brilliant job identifying the Henry v111 Halfpenny I found yesterday I hoped someone could help with I.D. on these. I'm not being lazy in asking for help with ID it's more not trusting my own I.D. skills.

Thanks for that, it makes me feel much better about asking for help.
Talented people is a bit of an under statement. Don't worry I can keep them coming, I have plenty more with my own iffy at best identification.

How do you do that?
Thanks you so much, it proves to me how poor my I.D.skills are and that I perhaps need to post more older search finds on the forum for accurate identification.
Thanks again. :clapping:

Be careful or he might decide to do that just for your coins :rollinglaughing:
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
