Great set of finds :Star: I’d be overjoyed with that little lot!

What’s on the face of the seal matrix? I love them :D
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Good finds for a club rally. They’re often disappointing finds wise but great for socialising.

Think you’ll have to give the rest of them a longer start next time

p.s. it’ll really bring you down to earth if you ever get on my best field

It’s always a challenge on my permissions. Not just because of sparse finds but also conditions. It’s first & foremost a feed farm. 3 or 4 silage fields and the rest Maize so hit & miss when any detecting can be done.
A few years ago I’d have been looking for somewhere else but too old to be bothered now. Another few weeks and I reckon the last grass cut will be done and the Maize comes off at the and of October then it’s all mine for as long as my legs last out.
Certainly an area with lots of history & always the promise of an unexpected find but requires a lot of leg work, sometimes for no return other than a nice view and some fresh air.

Can you tell what that is between the 1 and the 3? ..as I don't think it's a number.

@Di0z
It looks like an X, although it could also be like a "ribbon" we see on a lot of the cancer charity things (i know thats nothing to do with this, but that was the only reference i could think of)

Thanks mate.

This token is the same except for the style number...
~~LOTUS 26-9 price tag token.JPG
For anyone not aware of it...these tokens were price-tags for shoes (etc) made by the Lotus Shoe Company.

The shoe style numbers are on some of their adverts....

Here's one of their Delta shoes price-tag tokens...

Great info Di0z

Ian, is there any chance you could pick the mud off from between the 2 numbers there?
It almost looks like a symbol more than more numbers
