Found the John penny today, Walter on London class 5c and a spindle whorl, got rained off early, got soaked to the skin I should of said lol still 1st hammered in a while, so happy cant complain 8-)

Well done, Mick. Two things which have evaded me so far (loads of spindle whorls but none of them decorated). :thumbsup:

Dont do digs anymore, my own permission, out with two close friends, my mate and his wife, landowner lives in a 12th C Priory [moated site] who lets us on the land when its drilled, though we were on stubble today, had some awesome finds over the years and given the landowner a lot of finds, and sold him a few inc a Tudor gold ring i found there last year, which was disclaimed :Party: :Party:
