Morning All,
It was hard work yesterday... slightly neglecting the day job but it is high season on the detecting front thats my excuse!
Anyway, I winkled out the below including a 1869 One cent... its in better condition than the photo suggests and i was amazed how valuable they can be if they are in really good nick!
A pretty blank chunky Roman, a really nice little gilded button, an Edward penny, Canterbury mint (for ID please;) a funny wiry thing... prob about 10 years old! And a good buckle if anyone has any ideas on that. Thanks in advance!

And a Cartwheel! Always nice to get a Cartwheel....

All the B
Alexander

That`s not a bad session Alex.
You`re right about the 1869 1 Cent, just looked that one up. Possibly dropped by a GI during the war.
Cartwheel is something i would like to find.
Cheers,
Dave.

You’re doing a lot better than me! My highlight was a toasted Georgian

Nice hammy and lovely to see the wide range of finds :D
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Well done Alex, nicely found.
I watched some of the American Detecting programs a few years ago. Always amused me when they found an ‘Indian Head’ coin. You’d have thought it was made of gold with all the shouting the did. Now they are priceless
