Hi I found this hammered coin yesterday. I think it's a Elizabeth 1st sixpence. Can anyone confirm this please.

It could be a three pence but will need a dimension to know for sure. I don't have my spink to hand to cross reference the mint mark.

Hi,Thanks for the replies. I will measure the coin tonight but I would say it was around 17 /18 mm in diameter.

Hi I have measured the coin now and it measures 19.5 mm at it's largest diameter. It is not round so looks to have been clipped.Do this size make it a sixpence,
