I know Phil....clearly a brooch. I am just speculating that it is quite possible less knowledgeable people may have got something similar and mis-identify it. Plus, of course, some may come up with out the diagnostic bit still attached.

Cor, haven't you just? You've posted up some belters and I'm sure I've not seen all of them. The man is a brooch magnet, like I said, and I'm not envious in any way, shape or form at all. :D

I'd sure like to see them together....a timeline of brooches maybe. You've found some amazing ones and it would be inspiring ...especially to someone like me who has only found a very few rather crippled examples. :cry: Whatever bait you are using it works a lot better than mine. :lol:

This has got to be my favorite one from this year Jan, its a strange one, not got the normal finesse, a bit lumpy, British made I reckon :thumbsup:

The brooches that wheeze their way under my coil are, like Jan's, generally deserving of the last rites. One day I'll cop for a good un like Phil turfs up on a regular basis :D
