Found this a couple of weeks back but have no idea what it could be . It is 25 mm wide and 30 mm long with a pronounced stamped design in the centre . It looks as if it has been heavily stamped as the rear protrudes where it looks like it has been hit with some force .
Rear is plain and its about 2mm thickness .
Any help with an ID much appreciated .

Odd shape to it too, almost like they used whatever they could find at the time....
A test piece on a new stamp maybe?

At a stretch the astronomical symbol for earth. Otherwise, what do you call a deer with no eyes?

Well Jan,

I've looked at the disc every which way and my deer now has no eyes, no legs and no willy!

And if you reply to that we'll both be banned
