I’ve promised for ages to share a new programme I’ve tried on tricky sites - ones with lots of iron or ones where depth seems to be an issue. It also gives great depth on quiet pasture! It’s not one I created but one that tinner455 shared a few months ago. I like seeing this Youtuber’s finds and his finds are certainly worth drooling over!

Anyway it’s based on a GMP platform so you’ll need to play with the tones to get them the way you like. You could go full tones if you like although the recommended 4 tones do, I can report, work very effectively :D

Start with programme 2 - GMP
Disc 7.0 - 4 tones
Sensitivity 97
Frequency 17khz
Iron 3
Reactivity 2
Audio response 4
Notch 0

Have a go and let me know what you think!

Ah...that takes me back to the GMP....sometimes with tones less is more.
Regarding Tinner....I remember when he was a regular poster at ahem *another place*. It could be a plan to get him to pop in here once in a while.....

Thanks OG. What tone breaks do you have set? And do you do anything with GB or just keep it set at 90?
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

You could have a sub-forum here for Deus programs

I leave them as they come. It’s really up to your own ears what you prefer. I always leave GB as it is 8-)

We’d considered that but as so many questions are about what to get, or concern both models we’ve decided (at least for now) to leave it as one section. We’ll review that regularly though :D

Slightly off topic, but concerning the Deus...On the Club dig last Sunday, a Deus user was complaining that he was getting lots of interference from us Nox users, and that he started picking up interference if a Nox came within 20-25yards of him...

Is this a common problem for the Deus or does it depend on the programme he is running?

Always have trouble when Kevin (i-rutus) comes near, change of frequency usually works, problem is worse when you get
two of more Equinox's together.

So just what sort of distances are we talking about before it's a problem? I am thinking about Club digs here and how to avoid causing issues to others...

Nox machines are a pain in the rear for me. They affect both the Deus and MI 6. I asked a friend who's an electronics geek if he could make a device that jams the Nox machines, just to get my own back. He said it's possible but would probably upset the Deus,,,, but it would be worth it just for the craic :D :D

He uses an original black one but I’ve found it good with the X35 too
