Not sure if these are fully up to date but it might be a good starting point for anyone wanting to find the Heritage Environment Records (HERs) for your local area.

SMR's, HER's, and National Records Online - It can be found here

Sites and Monuments Records or SMRs, as well as Historic Enviroment Records (HERs) consist of a list of known archaeological sites. Each record list the location, type and period of site along with a brief description and information on the location of more detailed sources of information such as site reports.

Every county contains a record (or has access to one), but the following areas have online versions. It is always useful to visit your County Archaeological Service to talk directly with the SMR/HER Officer
