Ok to cut a long story short the club can only do digs with six people so it’s names in a hat unfortunately I didn’t get picked for Sunday
After a bit of a lay-off detecting dew to work and weather last weekend I was looking forward to getting out this weekend, went out Saturday very excited to get out after about 5 hours detecting drew a blank nothing even worth a photo or post on the forum  had to wait until 5 on Saturday evening to see if I had a place on club dig no banana so a bit disappointed and wasn’t shore I was going to bother Sunday but glad I did went back to the field I blanked the day before which was a hard decision but it produced today with a couple of hammies one being the biggest one I have ever found Elizabeth 1st shilling second issue,I have spent hours and hours on this field this year and I can’t believe how I must have walked around this coin a number of times :o
I have included a group photo of all my finds today a good decision to go out :D

Wow that Lizzie is a stunner. Still using the tweaked HOT programme? Whatever you are using it’s pulling out the goodies

Yes still using the program but today I used the hf coil which I haven’t used for over two months as a drew a blank yesterday I decided to change from the x35 11” and upped the frequency to 30hrz ish and it seemed to do the trick

So well done, great finds. But regardless of coil or particular frequency I reckon you would have just found them anyway had you searched there. If you doubt it then next time find any target or even all targets and change settings or even coils, you'll still most likely detect them anyway!
D2 - 13"x11" coil - audio only.

You are totally right easylife on the big silver but the small ones are harder to find a I think the hf may have a slight advantage but not to disagree with you the x35 11” running 17hrz might have found it too
It’s psychological for me a change of equipment may change my luck
The finds were found on disked stubble

Great finds there...really lovely spread and the Lizzie is spectacular.
Pity about the club digs...you should say you are grouse shooting and then you would be exempt.
