Back out yesterday on my mates permission. Had a cracking day and a good laugh . He was lucky and found a pilgrims ampula . I got a rolled hammered coin which i have carefully straightened out . If someone can i.d. it for me I'd be very grateful. Cheers

Your mate got an ampulla? I’d be very, very jealous of that 8-)

Nice groat and lovely to hear you had a good detecting session

It's good to have a bit of competition mate. We sometimes have a £1 bet on who gets the most Roman
