"To commemorate Katherine Parr Week, in which we will celebrate the incredible life and legacy of Katherine Parr, we are offering FREE ENTRY to everyone named Katherine, regardless of spelling, from Tuesday 1st - Sunday 6th September!
Throughout the week, we'll be shining a light on Katherine's story with a programme activities exploring the life of an extraordinary woman who was far more than Henry VIII's wife.
Come and see the Chapel and tomb where Katherine Parr rests Explore the grounds and gardens she once walked Discover artefacts such as her Prayer Book, handwritten letters, teeth and a lock of her hair in our Exhibition Rooms Learn about Katherine's childhood, education, marriages and role as Queen of England in our Katherine Parr trail Encounter costumed historical reenactors Special talks from our guides exploring Katherine Parr’s final months at Sudeley, her faith and the events surrounding her death.All spellings of this wonderful name will be granted free admission. The only rules are that it MUST be your first name and you MUST bring a form of photo ID with you to gain entry.
