Pierced roman for id please

Hi guys out for first time in a long while. On my favourite roman spot. Digging to 6 inches was easy as its sand, below 6 inches was concrete. Soft ish early stubble increased coil height. With the arrival conditions didnt expect many bright signals on my etrac. Pulled plenty of lead a couple 243 shells and two Romans one definitely a grot the second larger one is toasted on reverse but bust is visible just. But has been pierced. Hoping someone might recognise the hansom fellow thanks in advanc

Thank you again allectus, well happy with that another denomination ticked off

Roman sestertius was a prominent coin used during the Roman Republic and Empire. Originally a small silver coin worth 2.5 asses, it became a large, thick brass coin under Emperor Augustus worth 4 asses (one-quarter of a denarius). Its large size made it a canvas for detailed imperial portraits

I love a sestertius (even thought they are Roman). Lovely to see one pierced too :thumbsup:
