Hi,
I found this rather battered denarius at the weekend and I was hoping someone may be able tell me the emperor.
I’m going to say Severus Alexander 🤔

That looks like a proper silver one. Might need a light clean for an ID though.

Believe it or not I have done and really struggling with this one. It was very black and I didn’t want to over clean it. I thought there would be enough just to get an idea who it is 🤔

It's an earlier silver piece. Likely candidate is Marcus Aurelius, possibly also Commodus.
