Horse tack?

The ends a bit bent. There’s a great guide in the research section. Check out the very top (pinned) topic with guides to different types of finds

Thank you. The bend looks part of the casting with a thicker section at the top of the loop which would stop two leather straps from meeting.
Are the guides on the PAS?

That’s so helpful. I have had a look through the pages and the PAS. There are several that are matches. The bend is the point of difference, so maybe this is an unintentional bend. It all makes for an interesting artefact!
